Working From Home!

Bernie is from Wigan and attends our shed when he is in Dumfries and Galloway at his static caravan. Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 stay at home restrictions he is unable to do that.

"As a regular visitor to our static caravan from delectable Wigan (home) and attending DMS, my woodworking skills have really improved. This has been due to much friendly guidance from other members. I can now turn a screwdriver the correct way, and cut timber without trimming my nails at the same time."

"Whilst very much missing the shed and having had to abandon my wheelbarrow planter project (which was going to be fought over at the April coffee morning) I am busy restoring one at home. I’ve also been keeping from under my wife’s feet sanding down a neglected hexagonal planter. A brand new version of which is planned for production as soon as my shed visits resume. Both planters should hopefully cause even greater excitement at next year’s April coffee morning. It’s good to live in hope!"
