Sunday 9 th June was cloudy but remained dry and warm, this combined with the added attraction of veteran, vintage and cherished cars made for a record attendance at Wm Kennedy’s Orroland Lodge annual open day with the Skeoch display front and centre.

The increased attendance and spend meant that Wm Kennedy could donate almost £1,000 from the proceeds to the Skeoch project without reducing his normal donation to the Bengairn Parish.

Amongst the attendees were Betty and Archie Sinclair, daughter and son-in-law of James Skeoch, and Fiona Sinclair, James’ grand-daughter which allowed Betty to fulfil a lifelong ambition to sit on car of her father’s design.
